Important Note to Dog Owners:  Dogs remain the responsibility of their owner at all times. Dogs must be kept on leads and restricted Breeds must be kept on lead, muzzled and handled by persons over 16 years as per the Control of Dogs Act.

This year Dungarvan Show welcomes a number of new members to the various Committees and currently there is a great buzz of anticipation as the planning ramps up. The Show continues to receive excellent support from local Businesses.  If you would like to Sponsor  an event or would like to have a Trade Stand at the Show  please contact us as per details below.

This year’s Show promises to have something for everyone.   The Show will host a tented village area which will include the Home Industries Tent featuring an array of Flowers, Vegetables, Homemade Jams, Cakes and Pastries, Arts and Crafts and Photography exhibits. The county Waterford Federation of the ICA will also have their usual display and will be located in the Home Industries marquee.

Returning for the second year is the popular Artisan marquee where you will find local Artisan producers displaying and selling their products.  This year we are delighted to include a Wellness marquee where talks and demonstrations on Nutrition, Healthy Lifestyle options etc. will take place.  Add to all this, the vibrant and popular Country Markets stand and this will be a very busy area indeed.

The Kids Zone will be a very busy place.  You may even get to travel around the showgrounds in some style and meet some interesting characters!  The popular Play Dough competition which takes place in the Home Industries tent is sure to attract a number of young designers!  We will also have a number of food outlets and, of course there will be an area for music. We are delighted to welcome back the Silver Spurs Line Dancers who were such a hit last year.

2024 is the third year that Dungarvan Show will stage the All Ireland Three Year Old Filly Final very kindly sponsored by Liberty Blue Estate Agents & Auctioneers.  The qualifiers travel from all over Ireland.  Indeed Dungarvan is lucky to have been selected to  host a number of qualifiers for the Irish Shows Association .   Who knows you may get to see your favourite racehorse in a new environment as they perform in the retrained Racehorse to Riding class.  A nod to yesteryear is covered with the addition of two special classes for horses and ponies where the riders will ride side-saddle which is a very elegant spectacle

Special attractions this year will include a Vintage Car and Farm machinery display as well as a Tractor Pulling event which has proved to be very popular over the last few years.

Remember Sunday July 14th in Ballygagin.  A Day Out for all the family!  Make memories or maybe just relive old ones from previous Show Days!
